Meet Kalika Menghaney, a CA finalist who transformed her love for creativity into a purposeful venture. From balancing the stress of exams to designing sustainable home décor, Kalika’s story is one of passion, innovation, and dedication.
Kalika found herself caught in the relentless loop of exams and studies, yearning for a creative escape. A naturally artistic soul, she turned to art and craft as her outlet. In her quest to create something meaningful, she discovered jesmonite, a versatile and sustainable material.
The pandemic in 2020 became a turning point for Kalika, as she immersed herself in Instagram reels featuring businesses crafting stunning home décor with sustainable and eco-friendly materials. Inspired by their creativity and purpose, Kalika decided to channel her passion into a venture that balanced artistry and sustainability, giving birth to Myurka Decor.
At Myurka Decor, kalika's main focus is to handcraft sustainable and eco-friendly home décor products. These products are made out of Jesmonite, a composite material made from a gypsum based powder. She believes in responsible & sustainable living, which also reflects in all the products shipped out of Myurka Decor.
Her meticulous attention to detail ensures every product aligns with her mission to promote greener living with elegance. Beyond the materials, Kalika practices what she preaches—reusing packaging materials and minimising waste to ensure that every aspect of her business reflects her deep respect for the planet.
